Meet the owner Jason Brown and Master Instructor Monte Brown.
With over 75 years of combined martial arts experience!
Jason Brown is the Owner of Brown’s Martial Arts and has been actively training in the martial arts for twenty-five years. His life-long goal has been to seek out and study with the best martial artists and train with superior instructors. This quest has led him to a fifth degree Black Belt in Karate and four World Championship titles in Karate and Kickboxing. All Mr. Brown’s titles were won in the four major organizations throughout the world (WKA, WAKO, WKC. NASKA). Mr. Brown’s greatest accomplishment in the sport, however, is watching his own students achieve World Titles and earning the rank of Black Belt.
Mr. Brown is also a devoted husband and father of three sons. He is dedicated to sharing the values of life skills and character development and helping people “Live Their Best Life.”
Master Instructor Monte Brown began his martial arts career in 1955 in Hamilton with Lee Suki. Although martial arts at the time was not considered “Main stream” Mr. Brown still showed a passion for learning and has persevered with his training for 50 years. In 1999, Mr. Brown opened the doors to Brown’s Martial Arts and paved the way for his son Jason who now successfully runs the schools.
Mr. Brown is a sixth degree black belt in Tae kwon do, Hapkido, Kenpo, Jujitsu, and seventh degree in unarmed military combat training. His practical approach to teaching has helped many students over the years defend them selves in real life situations. At the age of 66 Mr. Brown still continues to teach and motivate others to become the best that they can be.
